During the day of 14th to 16th in July, 2017 International Education Management Conference-- “the Summit of the Significance of the International Cooperation between the Cloud High Education Silk Road and the Development of Colleges and Universities” jointly by XUST and AEMGwas held successfully in Wyndham Grand Xi’an South Hotel. Delegates from national astronomical observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese University of Mining Technology (CUMT), Xi’an University of Science and Technology (XUST), Melbourne University and other 60 excellent colleges and universities from home and abroad attended the opening ceremony. Some forums were held during the conference, like “Cloud Campus Research Alliance” president forum, “The Women’s Leadership Institute” forum and Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run cooperative universities forum and so on.
Dong XiaoLong, Party secretary of shaanxi provincial commission of high education, who is invited to the conference, said that he wished colleges and universities of Shaanxi could seize the opportunity to realize the development and cooperation of education resources in the global world through the conference, and construct jointly the “Cloud High Education Silk Road”.
Yang GengShe, president of XUST, welcoming addressed that hoping education colleagues from home and abroad could strengthen communication and cooperation and work together for the development of high education.
Zhang HuWei, vice president of XUST, addressed a speech “ international cooperation is the driving force for the development of university teaching” which introduced the situation of international developing and the project of Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run universities.

Delegates from College of Civil and Architectural Engineering and College of Electrical and Control Engineering attended the “Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run cooperative universities” Forum.
More than 200 delegates who attended the conference paid a visit to LingTong Campus of XUST, and almost 50 delegates from home and abroad attended the reception held in the second meeting room of XUST. Zhang HuWei hosted the reception, and Yang GengShe on behalf of XUST gave a welcome speech.
President Yang and Charistopher Madden who is the former International vice president and the top consultant of Macquarie University gave each other gifts.
The International Education Management Conference and its forums made a great difference to the improvement of cooperation between universities and colleges and the progress of being International, which got praises from the delegates widely.
