On the evening of September 26th, the introducing meeting of 121 double degree project of the “Sino-U.S. Talent Training Plan” was held successfully in classroom 108, building 9, Lingtong campus of XUST, having been jointly held by Academic Affairs Division, Student Affairs Office, College of Management, College of Computer Science & Technology, and International Exchange & Cooperation Office. Many of the important people presented the introducing meeting, like Shang ChangChun, the head of the Technology, and International Exchange and Cooperation Office, Zhang Yin, the vice director of the Student Affairs Office, Chen WeiBo, the Party committee vice secretary of the College of Computer Science & Technology and so on.
Shang ChangChun, the head of theInternational Exchange and Cooperation Office gave a speech of introducing the developing history of the XUST 121 double degree project of the “Sino-U.S. Talent Training Plan” and the achievements of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office at first. Then, student delegates who had graduated from the project named Liu Zheng and He YiJie shared their experiences and thinking of studying abroad through the chance of the project. And their presentations arose great passions of the audience.
Teacher Shen JiaWei gave a brief introduction of the 121 double degree project to students in detail. She looked back on the history of the project and explained matters need attention and applying procedures in detail. September 26th is also the teacher Shen’s birthday, so staffs sent a special video which records best wishes from all over the world as the gift to her
In the last, teacher Wu Qin gave an analysis of the 121 project experimental class from the perspectives of policies, platforms, security, managements, fees and so on, and a introduction of the aim and advantages of experimental class.
The 121 experimental class of XUST which got the permission of Shaanxi education department will enroll new students whose majors are software engineering or business administration in 2018.
